Statisics Psychology

Psychology is the study of human behavior, the portion of science that helps understand the information Psychologists he or she collect during research. Finding statistics, will allow the Psychologist to help people using the scientific method. People do not realize how often they use research and statistics in his or her everyday lives. Many people will  research to find the simplest everyday tasks, such as how to use a microwave, or to find out how  people live in his or her town. Unless brought to his or he attention they may never understand how often statistics and research is used on a daily basis, and how statistics are necessary in the research he or she will do when trying to find an answer he or she is looking to find. Scientific, research and psychology tie together in many ways, which helps to find answers professionals and individuals need to use every day life.

Scientific method

Science is more complex than a simple definition. A person can memorize and forget the subject until he or she needs to use it another time. The scientific method has evolved in order to help people tell the truth and understand the world and its many species, all that is new happening in space and, our oceans where so much is left to discover, and learn. Everything humankind is curious about adds an emphasis to obtain more knowledge. The following is an attempt to apply words that will help people gain knowledge through explicit understanding rather than experience having to learn something the hard way.Truths meaning fact or facts that most people know are true. Understanding the context which facts help a person use the ability to describe, predict, control, create, and explain irregularities. In other words, to help understand the scientific methods are truthful, explicit, testable, minimal errors, comprehensible, principled, or systematic.

Primary and Secondary Contrast

Understanding psychology as a science is an important step. Once understood, people will begin to treat it as such (March 2002).The primary objective of psychology is to research, describe, and predict how to help his or her patient, or study his or her condition. When done properly a psychologist is able to help control unnatural behavior by helping the patient’s mental conditions, and or complete the study he or she may be conducting. Psychology contributes to the understanding of the human the mind and helps control unacceptable behavior. When comparing methods psychology and the contrast method of disciplines of the psychological persecutes for interdisciplinary collaboration. Therefore, a primary source is the original event that develops at the time of said event or very near the same time. Meaning the secondary source happens later. As a result, the secondary source is often the analyzing tools (Woolums, 2009). A secondary source helps discover the facts that will optimistically come to the same conclusion as the primary sources collected.

Role of statistics in research

Research offers a concise description for various statistics to ensure students, scientists, doctors, and others locate the correct data. Research is the first information that a class, or any other group should discuss. The probability that the statistics, through thorough research will be correct and useful are much better than if a person or group randomly gives his or her ideas about what he or she believes the statistics are before research. In other words, if people try to predict statistics randomly sampling ideas, statistics will likely not be entirely correct. Research is able to give statistics that will help in most every area of life. Proper research equates to proper statistics.

Without gathering the proper research, arriving at the proper statistics is almost impossible. Therefore, collecting all the information in need appropriately, a person is able to save time. Most important when using statistics in psychology research supports any issue a person wants or must have to prove in order to come to the right conclusion that will solve the problem at hand (Chow, 2002).

Conclusion

Finally, Psychology is a science of human behavior, and the importance of research is important in both the professional world and in everyday life. People who need mental help need to receive help from Psychiatrists, to ensure they can be healthy contributing citizens. Sadly, not all patients are that lucky. However, as time passes and Psychology is able to compare from the past how people with mental illnesses were treated this will allow more research into mental illness and Psychology will be an even better science due to the years of statistics and the men and women of Psychology who came before them.
