This may be one of the most important articles you’ve ever read. If you, your family members—or any friends or neighbors—use Roundup to control weeds to manage lawns and gardens, do them a favor: urge them to stop using the product immediately.
You might save their life.
Toxins, organ failure and kidney damage
A faction of health experts have been eyeing agricultural giant Monsanto for years. Some have accused the company of egregious actions with a range of their genetically modified foods and grains derived from genetically modified organisms (GMOs).
One study published by the International Journal of Biological Sciences, discovered that Monsanto’s GMO corn led to mammalian organ failure.
Another disturbing study from the Institute of Science in Society released the middle of March 2012 describes how the insidious toxins in all versions of Roundup destroy human kidney cells.
Health organizations have also claimed that some of Monsanto’s products have been shown to mutate DNA in animals—including humans—exposed to herbicides, particularly Monsanto’s brand name product, Roundup.
Exposure to herbicides is known to cause various types of adverse health effects in humans. Direct contact with herbicide chemicals can cause burns, even poisoning. Breathing the toxic vapors can cause long term ailments and continued exposure may lead to agonizing death.
Despite a wide range of potential health threats, herbicides and pesticides are in wide use around the world as the best, most cost effective way to manage farm crops and limit the incursion of weeds and damage from insects.
Significant DNA damage is discovered
The newest study has found incontrovertible evidence that horrifying DNA and cellular damage to mouth and throat tissue is linked to glyphosate exposure. Glyphosate is the main active ingredient in the Monsanto’s herbicide marketed as Roundup Ultra Max.
According to a damning new report from the Institute of Science in Society the corporation’s, “…formulated version of glyphosate called Roundup Ultra Max caused cellular damage and DNA damage including chromosomal abnormalities and ultimately killed the cells at higher concentrations. Importantly, DNA damage occurred at concentrations below those required to induce cell damage, suggesting that the DNA damage was caused directly by glyphosate instead of being an indirect result of cell toxicity.”
Experts warn that simply inhaling the product’s fumes is sufficient to begin damaging the DNA which can cascade over time and lead to permanent mutation of cells.
Natural Society has raised an additional alarm over the possibility that millions are being unknowingly exposed to toxic glyphosate that don’t even use Roundup: “Although harm caused by glyphosate and Roundup is thought to be experienced only by those spraying the herbicide, Roundup may actually causing harm to millions of people. Roundup is not only sprayed on the food we eat, but it is also used by countless households as a consumer herbicide product.”
For those consumers who wait for the government to do something, that wait may spell the difference between a healthy life or one filled with chronic sickness, even early death.
In the end, each person is responsible for his and her life. Educating oneself on environmental dangers is the only sure way to protect oneself from avoidable harm.
If you use this product, consider finding something less deadly to replace it. If you know of others who use it do them a favor: send them a link to this article and they can pass it on to others.
You could help save many, many lives.
