Since it’s beginning psychology has been used for both good and evil.
It has been used to deal with the poor, the elderly and the dissabled by
locking them away in insane assylums and it has been used to deal
with people that others don’t like by locking them away also.It has been
used to torture animals and as a weapon of war to torture people.
Though there are very honorable and decent reasons why the
field of Psychology should be practiced it seems that the abuses go
unoticed much of the time and when they are brought to peoples
attention the issue is quickly swept under the rug.
There are labels placed on people for the sake of discrediting them.
Such devices where used by the former Soviet Union to deal with
dissidents but it was also widely used in the United States as well.
There are psychological experiments that are taking place in open
society with out the subject even being aware of it let alone not
volunteering for it.Yet for the psychologist the world is an open lab
where they can perform forced social experiments on unwilling
subjects as they please when they please and to whatever level
of degree they please.I’m not talking about the kind of getting to
know the world around you psychology but the kind that is used
to harm people emotionally and to lead them to make bad choices
in their life in vulnerable moments.
There are people being poisoned to death with medications.
There are people being sedated to make it easier for their
preditors to rape or molest them.Small children that haven’t
ever given consent to this.Woman, elderly people and even men.
These issues are never delt with because of “spin”and never will be.
Often if not always psychiatrists will stick together on a diagnosis
given and even evolve it to something worse than the initial diagnosis
ruining peoples lives in the process and distroying their ability to
obtain jobs because of the nasty name calling.Though there are people
that truely fit these diagnosis for the people that don’t it is hurtful
to hear and often used by others as a way to hurt.
