Hair is one of the most fascinating parts of the body. Some people grow hair like it’s their job, while others struggle their entire lives to grow a full head of it. Some people’s hair is silky smooth, while others is naturally oily and thick. Whichever way your genes run, there are many ways to help you hair grow much faster.
Eat Well
First and foremost, keeping a healthy diet is crucial to give your body the correct tools to grow your hair. Eliminate smoking, alcohol, caffeine and carbonated sodas, all of which can weaken your body. Since hair is made of protein, a diet that is high in protein (meats, fish, nuts, etc.) is also important. Also, make sure you are getting a good supply of all vitamins and minerals that are found in fruits and vegetables. This will give your body the best potential for rapid hair growth.
Stimulate the Scalp
Massaging your scalp for just a few minutes a day can help to stimulate the hair cells under your skin and increase their productivity.
Keep Clean
Use an all-natural, quality shampoo and conditioner, which will help keep your hair clean. This rids your scalp of all bacterias that could potentially stunt your hair’s growth.
Treat Your Hair Well
Do not brush your hair more than you need to. Allow wet hair to dry a fair amount before ripping your brush through those knots. By brushing your scalp too many times, you are killing many cells and stunting their ability to multiply and grow. Putting hair dyes, gel or other artificial products in your hair will also kill any cells that are trying to help your hair grow.
Keep the Hot Air Away
Do not blow dry your hair, straighten it or wash it with overly hot water. All of these may damage your hair cells, thus affecting its growth potential.
