Overview
A vaporizer is a unit that lets off steam to keep the air moist. Similar to a humidifier, a vaporizer can help relieve symptoms of flu and the common cold. Store-bought vaporizers can cost hundreds of dollars, but you can make your own home if you want to save money and are willing to put in a great deal of effort.
Step 1
Take the batteries out of the Cold Heat soldering gun by unscrewing the cover and allowing the batteries to slide out.
Step 2
Remove the ceramic top on the front of the Cold Heat gun tip using your hands only. The top should pull right off with enough pressure. Using a tool to remove the top can damage the tip of the gun.
Step 3
Bend the piece of metal on the right of the inside of the gun so that it is lower than the metal on the left side of the inside. Solder the M401 atomizer to the bent piece using a 14-gauge wire. Anything thicker will be difficult to solder. Make sure the positive contact is being glued to the bent metal contact of the Cold Heat gun.
Step 4
Place the M401 atomizer in the hole of the gun that remains from removing the top. Put pressure on the M401 atomizer when it is in the hole to ensure that the casing of the atomizer is in contact with the left metal contact in the Cold Heat gun.
Step 5
Place the liquid M401 cartridge in the atomizer.
Step 6
Place the batteries back in the gun and place the battery cover on top.
Step 7
Turn the Cold Heat gun’s power on to activate it. The liquid will be brought through the tip of the gun as the atomizer warms up.
