Clean & Clear Advantage Kit

Overview

Individuals who suffer from acne may choose to purchase the Clean and Clear Advantage Acne Control Kit as a possible treatment. Clinical studies have shown the Advantage Kit to be an effective topical treatment for acne. This kit involves three products and is intended for daily use.

Process

The Clean and Clear Advantage Acne Control Kit consists of three products. Two of the products–the cleanser and the moisturizer–are intended to be used twice daily. The third product is the spot treatment, which is only used sporadically for problem areas.

Cleanser

The acne control cleanser is the first step in the Clean and Clear Advantage Kit. The cleanser is used to wash the face in the morning and at night. The face wash is intended to prevent breakouts throughout the day and night.

Moisturizer

The second step in the kit is the acne control moisturizer. This lotion is used on the face twice a day after washing with the acne control cleanser. The moisturizer dissolves oil on the face so that the active ingredients can reach pores and get rid of breakouts.

Spot Treatment

The fast-clearing spot treatment does not necessarily need to be used daily. Users are directed to apply the spot treatment only on very small problem areas, such as an existing pimple or an area that is prone to breakouts. When used, the spot treatment may clear up a pimple in about eight hours.

Ingredients

There are two active ingredients in all three products of the Clean and Clear Advantage Acne Control Kit: benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid. According to the U.S. National Library of Medicine, both of these products are recommended for the the topical treatment of acne. Additionally, each product contains inactive ingredients like water, glycerin, menthol and fragrance.

Clinical Studies

According to the clinical studies for the product, the Advantage Kit resulted in 100 percent success in all participants for reducing redness or the number of pimples or blackheads. Results were seen in 100 percent of participants after one day and also after four weeks.

Time Frame

Customers are advised by Clean and Clear to begin using the Advantage Kit only once per day to ensure that excessive drying or peeling does not occur. Users can gradually move up to using the kit twice a day if the skin does not become irritated. When used twice daily, one Clean and Clear Advantage Acne Control Kit lasts about one month. Users can opt to buy the product on their own or enroll in a monthly refill program to have a new kit shipped to their residence once per month.
