When U.S. prescription drug customers get loud, apparently the government listens. The U.S. Government has said that it will no longer halt and seize smaller shipments of imported prescription drugs from Canada that are ordered by U.S. citizens.
In a collective sigh of relief everywhere, many fixed-income citizens and others concerned about the skyrocketing price of U.S.-based prescription drugs will still be able to get their prescription drugs from north of the border without fear of government seizure.
The debate on whether prescription drugs approved by the FDA here in the U.S. and much-cheaper alternatives imported from Canada are equal alternatives is another subject for another day. But, if price is your thing, Canadian drugs are waiting for that Internet order, right now.
